RMS will work to educate your staff on providing complete and accurate information in order for claims to process correctly the first time billed. Your RMS account representative works closely with you and your staff to establish efficient work flow, saving time and money.

 

Efficient and Effective Services


RMS utilizes current technology to provide quick reimbursements. Our billing software company continually improves their practice management system. Our clearing house submits your claims electronically to most major carriers with a rapid payment turn-around. Payments from major insurance carriers (Medicare, Blue Cross, Aetna, etc.) are available for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) straight to your bank account. Copies of remits for your use are available through our clearing house website. Secondary insurance companies and/or patient balances are billed out in a more timely manner with the use of the Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA).

 

A variety of websites are available to verify patient eligibility for most major insurance companies. RMS can provide information and training regarding the use of these sites.

 

Patient collection agencies may now be a part of your past. RMS has partnered with a collection agency to minimize your cost while maximizing patient collections.  Our collection agency provides a two-phase collection system:  Phase One issues collection letters to patients while Phase Two acts as a collection agency, collecting a fee only when you are paid. RMS covers the cost of Phase One. Phase Two costs are arranged between the agency and our clients.

 

Reporting


RMS provides monthly reports to keep you up-to-date on your reimbursement status, A/R, and charge breakdown by location, therapist, and/or referring doctor. Custom reports are available upon request.

 

Expert Knowledge


James C Hall, CPA General Manager of RMS, is active in pursuing current regulations and legislation, and staying up to date on billing procedures for Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield, which represents 50% of most payment sources for clinics. He has established relationships with management personnel at these and other major insurance companies. Jim can offer answers and advice to your questions about all areas of insurance processing.
